With abundant gathering areas and a full kitchen, it’s perfect for longer stays and intimate group getaways.
Dilly Oasis began with a love story — not just between people, but between a family and a house. We fell for this beautiful property more than 25 years ago, long before it was ours. When the opportunity arose to call it home in 2021, we embraced it wholeheartedly, honoring its character while reimagining what it could become.
What stands today is a thoughtful conversion of the original residence into three distinct guest suites, each designed and built by hand. We preserved the details that first stole our hearts: the interior wooden bi-level staircase, the original Italian tiles, the skylight windows that bathe the home in soft Bahamian light, and the expansive decks that invite immersive outdoor moments. Nestled on a quiet tucked away lane, our location offers a rare combination: serenity and privacy, yet still close to everything. Step outside and in just a few minutes your feet are in the sand, your face warmed by sunrise, your mind cleared by the sound of waves. The beach is perfect for peaceful morning walks, safe swimming, and quiet contemplation.
And when you’re ready for a bit more activity, Port Lucaya Marketplace, local shops, cafés, and restaurants are just a mile away — close enough for convenience, yet far enough to preserve the retreat-like feeling that defines Dilly Oasis.
For the last 14 years, we’ve welcomed travelers from around the world — guests who return again and again not only for the peaceful setting but for the warmth, attentiveness, and generosity that shape every stay. Jens, our friendly and extremely attentive on-site property manager is naturally gifted at making our guests feel at home. It is our joy to share this home, these gardens, and this island with you.
